I was born and grew up on the east coast in the
suburbs of Philadelphia. In 1970 we moved to
Portland when my father was hired by Emanuel
Hospital. I’ve lived in the Portland area ever
since. I graduated from Rex Putnam High School
in Milwaukie and went on to Clackamas Community
College and Portland Community College. While
playing soccer at bsp;
Local 1092 here in Portland was our biggest
client and in 1985 merged with four other
locals, becoming Local 555. I was hired by
Local 555 in January 1986 and since then have
continued doing computer related work here. My
hobbies now include windsurfing, kite boarding,
and mountain biking in the Columbia River Gorge.
